Who we are
This website, anabananaphotos.com, is run by Ana Banana Photos, a photography business based in Sarasota, Florida ("we," "us," "I"). Questions about this policy can go to ana@anabananaphotos.com.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your questions, book your session and deliver your photos:
- Contact details you send us: your name, email, phone number and anything you write when you email, text, call or message us on WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Booking details: when you book through our booking site (provided by Pixieset), we receive your name, email, phone number, the session you chose, the date and time, any add-ons, and answers to booking questions.
- Payment information: deposits and invoices are processed by Pixieset and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
- Photos from your session: the images we take of you and anyone in your group.
- Website usage data: like most websites, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. They use cookies and similar technology to collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether you clicked to call, text or email us.
How we use your information
- To reply to you, schedule and confirm your session, and send reminders.
- To take your deposit and send invoices for the remaining balance.
- To edit and deliver your photos through a private online gallery.
- To understand how people find and use the website, and to measure our advertising.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Your photos
Your gallery is private and shared only through the link we send you. We'll ask your permission before using any of your photos on our website, social media or in advertising. If you say no, or change your mind later, we won't use them (or we'll take them down).
If your session includes children, we only take and deliver photos at the request of their parent or guardian.
Who we share information with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Pixieset (booking, invoices, payments and photo galleries)
- Google (Analytics, Ads and email)
- Our phone, email and website hosting providers
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and control ad personalization in your Google ad settings. The site works without these cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep booking and payment records as long as needed for taxes and accounting. Galleries stay available for a period after delivery, so please download your photos. We may keep backup copies of session images, and you can ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or tell us to stop using your photos. Email ana@anabananaphotos.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them online.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
