You ask, I stay hidden until the yes, and you both get the photos the next day.
A proposal happens once and lasts about twelve seconds. My job is to be in the right spot, with the right lens, before either of you knows I'm there. That means looking like a tourist with a camera until the knee goes down.
How we plan it
Before the day, we work out the spot, where you'll stand, what direction you'll face, a signal and a backup plan by text. I scout the light at that time of day so the sunset is behind you, not in your eyes. On the day, I text you when I'm in position, and nothing starts until I'm ready.
After the yes
Once the hugging and happy tears settle, we do a relaxed 20–30 minute couples session right there, with the ring, the sunset and the two of you. Engagement photos, done.

I blend in as a beachgoer with a camera and use a longer lens, so I can be far enough away that your partner won't notice.
