How pricing works

Beach sessions include up to five people (four for the 15-minute mini). Each extra person is added at a flat rate, and the number of edited photos grows with your group, so every household, couple and grandparent-with-grandkid combo gets frames of their own. There's no separate large-family tier: choose Family & large groups, add everyone, and the price updates as you go.

Minis run at one quiet Siesta Key access point, which keeps them affordable. Family, maternity and proposal sessions can be at any beach on the list, at your rental pool, or at a park.

When I shoot

Weekdays, I'm on location from 5 PM, which lines up with golden hour for most of the year. Weekends are open all day, from sunrise sessions to sunset. For beach photos, the best light is early morning or the last hour or two before sunset. Florida's midday sun is harsh: everyone squints, faces shine, and little ones melt down.

Friday–Sunday sunset slots, from 6 to 9 PM, are the most requested of the week, so they cost a bit more. Monday–Thursday evenings and weekends before 5 PM are the regular price, and the light is just as good.

Visiting on vacation? Book as soon as your dates are set. Your photos land within 24 hours, so you can share them before you've even packed for home.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a family beach session cost in Sarasota?

A one-hour family session is $350 for up to five people, or $450 for a Friday–Sunday sunset. Each extra person is $60, and the calculator above shows your exact total before you book.

What's included in the price?

The session, my editing, and an online gallery of finished, full-resolution photos you can download and print. A family hour includes 25+ hand-picked, fully edited photos (your best shots, not near-duplicates), and bigger groups get more.

How fast will we get our photos?

Within 24 hours. Many photographers take a week or more, which is a long wait when you're flying home at the end of the week.

Is there a travel fee?

Siesta Key, Lido Key, downtown Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and mainland Bradenton are included. Farther beaches have a small fee based on drive time, listed in the table above.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

When you book online, you pay a 50% deposit plus any add-ons, like extra people or travel. The rest is due after the session. Your deposit is fully refunded if you cancel at least 7 days ahead, and you can reschedule for free up to 72 hours ahead. The details are on the booking info page.

We're a group of 12 or more. Can we still book online?

Yes. Choose Family & large groups and add everyone in the calculator, up to 20 people. For bigger reunions or weddings, text me and I'll put together a quote.

Why does Friday–Sunday sunset cost more?

Those are the most requested slots of the week, and there are only three of them. Monday–Thursday evenings and weekends before 5 PM are the regular price, and the light is just as good.

What happens if it rains?

I watch the forecast and make the call at least 2 hours before your session. If rain, drizzle or lightning is expected, I'll text you, and we'll reschedule to any open time for free, with your deposit carried over. Cloudy skies on their own aren't a reason to reschedule, since overcast light is soft and flattering.

What times can I book?

Weekday sessions start from 5 PM. Weekends are open from early morning through sunset. The booking calendar only shows times I'm actually free, and I leave travel time between sessions.
